The Colorado Brewers Guild is pleased to share that the Colorado beer scene was recognized in 6 out of 9 of the USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice beer categories this year!
- Best Beer Festival: Collaboration Fest (#10) – this is the Guild’s largest annual event that pairs collaborating breweries that create unique, one-of-a-kind beers solely available at the festival. Also placing in this category is the annual Great American Beer Fest hosted by the Brewers Association (#4).
- Best Beer Garden: Lowry Beer Garden (#7) – with 9,000 SF of outdoor space, guests can enjoy Colorado craft brews and ample brews.
- Best Beer Label: High Hops Brewery (#7) – Dr. Pat’s Double IPA from High Hops Brewery in Windsor, CO.
- Best Brewpub: Stronghouse Brewpub (#1) – Telluride’s Stronghouse Brewpub tops this list. The brewpub, which is housed in a historic 1892 building, serves Alpine comfort food.
- Best New Brewery: Public Offering Brewing Company (#4) – the newly opened Denver brewery located on South Broadway cheekily references owner Cody Higginbottom’s investment background but the brewery is a gorgeous and inviting taproom that is an offering to the guests.
