Legislative Discussion: Colorado Priorities 2020

Join us at Goat Patch Brewing Company to learn about important issues impacting animals in Colorado.

Humane Society United States will be discussing legislative plans for 2020, including our efforts to make large scale breeding facilities (aka puppy mills) more humane, to stop the retail sale of puppies and kittens in pet stores, and to make prairie dog conservation more accessible.

WildEarth Guardians, a nonprofit organization we collaborate with on wildlife issues around the state, will be cosponsoring this event. Samantha Bruegger, Wildlife Coexistence Campaigner with WildEarth Guardians, is joining us to discuss M-44 Cyanide Bombs: killing wildlife and pets and Prairie Dog & Coyote Killing Contests.

We need your help to enact strong policy to protect animals around Colorado, and we hope you will join us at Goat Patch Brewing Company on November 7 to talk about how you can get more involved.
